Local Companies Bring Lunch and Love to

                  Area Healthcare Workers

A group of area businesses are bringing lunch and appreciation to local Healthcare workers by serving a catered meal to different health-related organizations each Friday during the COVID-19 crisis.

In addition to Results Radio stations Froggy 92.7, 102.7 and 103.9 and Hot 105.7 along with Brickside Grille, several other community-minded leaders stepped forward to support the effort. They include North Central West Virginia Airport, Dominion Energy, Premier Bank, Jenkins Subaru, N&S Electric, Harrison County Emergency Squad and Allstate Insurance Agent Bill Pulice.

Bridgeport Health Care Center was the first recipient of Lunch and Love. The program will continue into May.

“The intention of this project was not only to bring a meal but to let the frontline workers know how much their communities appreciated them and their difficult and often stressful work during this crisis”, said Jim Sweezy, Market Manager and event coordinator.

“We felt it was the least we can do during such a critical time in our community. It is obvious these workers are under a lot of pressure and don’t have enough to time to decompress. It’s really nice to see the smiles on their faces when we deliver the meals. These are our friends and neighbors and we greatly appreciate them”, offered Brickside Grille Manager Sierra Davis.

Dr. Mark Povroznik said, “On behalf of the UHC family...Thank You to Froggy Radio, Brickside and all the community sponsors for providing the warmth of such an awesome meal! All who received were greatly appreciative!”
